Company History
In 1945, Barney Roth and Joseph Rosen founded The Barney Roth Company, Inc. in Philadelphia. Their goal was to provide lighting management and maintenance services to private industry, including both commercial and industrial clients.
By the late 40s, the company's business grew, and Philadelphia Lighting Maintenance Company was formed as a Division of The Barney Roth Company to offer lighting services to multi-location and chain customers. The new name reflected more clearly the services offered by both companies.
After 55 years of offering outstanding services in lighting maintenance and management, the company continues to deliver outstanding performance as a leader in the field. Today, working with our management staff is a fleet of 35 service vehicles, which meet customer demands in Southern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware.
